Hi, I've recently begun to fly with an Aircraft for which the mass & balance section of the operating manual describes the approved m&b envelope in terms of percentage of the mean aerodynamic chord instead of the "traditional" arm limits. While it should be possible to switch between the two representations with some calculations by hand, I would say it would be nice to have the possibility to describe the m&b limits of an aircraft in terms of arm position or % MAC, with an option within the aircraft profile.
